I would give MAC and Shazi more than five stars if I could. She made what could have been a horrible experience actually kind of great. My divorce was finalized (luckily) without any complications, but I'll really miss my regular interactions with Shazi. If anyone is going through a separation or divorce, they should talk to Shazi because... 1. Shazi is very compassionate and respectful of all the emotions a client is going through. She was equal parts my therapist and my divorce sherpa. 2. Shazi took the time to explain all the filings, legalese and possible actions/outcomes very clearly. Things get complicated and the paperwork gets confusing, but Shazi took the time to make sure I understood everything and what my options were. 3. Quick response time, as noted in other reviews here. She'll call or email you back right away. 4. Really reasonable rates for all the work she puts in. 5. Personal attention to detail. Shazi gave me frequent updates that she was checking with the courts to see when my case was coming up for review Quick Tip: The meters on the east side of Bixel towards 5th Street have a longer time maximum. Plus you can pick up Starbucks on the way up. Also, mention you found her on Yelp.
